This plate is straight-up restaurant vibes at home. Juicy grilled steak dripping with savory juices paired with a bright avocado-tomato salad that’s fresh, creamy, and zesty. It’s the kind of meal that feels fancy but is actually super easy to whip up. Perfect for a high-protein dinner or clean eating meal that still goes hard on flavor.
INGREDIENTS :
For the Grilled Steak:
2 small bone-in beef steaks (thin cut)
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp dried parsley
1 tbsp butter (for finishing)
For the Avocado Garden Salad:
1 large avocado, sliced
1 cup cherry or heirloom tomatoes, sliced
1 cup lettuce leaves
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
Pinch salt & pepper
½ tsp dried parsley flakes (for garnish)
DIRECTIONS :
1: Season the Steak
Pat steaks dry and rub with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
2: Grill or Pan-Sear
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook steaks 3–4 minutes per side until nicely browned with a light char.
3: Add Butter Finish
During the last minute, add butter and spoon the melted butter over the steaks for extra flavor and shine.
4: Rest the Meat
Let steaks rest 5 minutes so the juices stay locked in.
5: Build the Salad
Layer lettuce on the plate, add sliced tomatoes and avocado.
6: Dress It Up
Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over the salad and sprinkle parsley, salt, and pepper.
7: Plate Like a Pro
Place the grilled steaks beside the salad and drizzle the steak juices over the meat.
8: Serve & Enjoy
Boom! A fresh steakhouse-style meal that looks fancy but is crazy simple.
